The Queen’s Fool By Philippa Gregory

The Queen’s Fool is a historical fiction novel by Philippa Gregory, published in 2003. Set between 1548 and 1558, it is part of Philippa Gregory’s Tudor series. Hannah’s life takes a dramatic turn when she is discovered by Robert Dudley and John Dee. Begged as a fool to Edward VI, she becomes embroiled in the intrigues of the young king’s court and later those of his sisters. As Mary, Elizabeth, and Robert Dudley use Hannah to gather information on their rivals and further their aims, the novel presents each side of this complex historical story.
