Aaron James Draplin, born on October 15, 1973, is a distinguished graphic designer, entrepreneur, and author who calls Portland, Oregon, his home. His birthplace is Detroit, Michigan, and he embarked on his associate degree at Northwestern Michigan College when he was just 17. He later moved to Bend, Oregon, to chase his dream of a career in graphic design. After five years, he shifted to Minneapolis to finish his design degree at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, graduating in the year 2000.
