There is no actual answer to this question. Every self-help book has its own unique messages. And all the common message of all modern self-help books is to take action.

You can not just keep reading books after books and not taking action according to it. That’s definitely not the way to improve yourself. The book I’m reviewing today is a self-help book. This is another bestseller book that changed the life of a lot of people around the world.

The name of the book is The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R Covey. I am sure you got an idea after just reading the name of the book. The name of this book has already given a message to the readers that what’s inside it.

The 7 habits that most successful people have in their life. The book has a long discussion on this topic. This is a medium-sized book, or you can say a long book by the number of pages. In this article, I’ll be reviewing this book. I’ll try to go inside the book and bring a summary that may help you.

Who Is Stephen R. Covey!

I was surprised to read the bio of the author of this book. He was not just an author. Actually, he was a multitasking person. Stephen R. Covey was an American educator, author, businessman, keynote speaker, professor, consultant, and management expert.

One of the best writing of this author is this book that we are reviewing today, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

Some other books from this author are The 8th Habit: From Effectiveness to Greatness, Leader in Me, Spiritual Roots of Human Relation. Covey was a Christian and served as the president of an Irish mission of the church.

His books are top-rated, especially the book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, one of his bestsellers. He was born in American in 1932 and died in 2012. Many motivational speakers worldwide still use his writings, and his books were translated into many languages in the world.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People – Book Review

The book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People was published in 1989 in the USA by the author Stephen R. Covey. This book has almost 381 Page. Which I think is a long book to read.

And this book has already sold more than 15 million copies. Throughout the life of the author has tried to inspire millions of people to the power of universal principles.

He taught that there are three constants in every human life. These are changing, choice and policy. This book is all about that. The 7 habits that are briefly discussed in the book are based on these principles. The 7 habits of highly effective people that are mentioned in the book are:

  • Be Proactive
  • Begin with the End in Mind
  • First Things First
  • Think Win-Win
  • Seek First to Understand, Then To Be Understood
  • Synergize
  • Sharpen the Saw; Growth

There are more sub-contents of these 7 content in the book as I’ve already mentioned that this is a long book. So take time to read it. This book can not be finished at a time.

And understanding every principle is also important to get the most from it. I have collected the translated version of this book because it is a bit hard to read for me.
