Things Fall Apart

Things Fall Apart is the first novel by Nigerian author Chinua Achebe, first published in 1958, describing pre-colonial life in southeastern Nigeria and Europeans’ arrival in the late 19th century. It is considered the archetypal modern African novel.

In English, and one of the first to receive worldwide critical acclaim. It is a basic book in African schools and is widely read and studied in English-speaking countries worldwide.

The novel was first published in the UK in 1962 by William Heinemann Ltd., and it became the first published work in Heinemann’s African Writers Series.

Anna Karenina

This is another very well-known novel book. I hope you have heard this name before. Anna Karenina is a novel by the Russian author Leo Tolstoy, first published in 1878.

Many writers consider Anna Karenina the greatest literary work of all time, and Tolstoy himself called her his first true novel. It appeared in serial episodes from 1873 to 1877 in The Russian Messenger magazine.

The Great Gatsby

The Great Gatsby was a great novel written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. this novel describes narrator Nick Carraway’s interactions with the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby and Gatsby’s obsession with bringing together his former lover, Daisy Buchanan.

The novel was inspired by a young romance Fitzgerald had with a socialite and the parts that participated on Long Island’s North Shore in 1922. As a result of a move for the French Riviera, they completed a project in 1924. This is considered one of the best literature by an American.

Invisible Man

This book is an amazing creation of H.G wells. In this book, Griffin is a researcher who dedicates himself to optics. While working on his examination, Griffin finds that he can change the body’s refractive record to assimilate all light and reflect none, making him imperceptible.

The researcher utilizes himself as his first experimentation subject yet neglects to invert the cycle. After his companion deceives him, Griffin chooses to kill him and starts his very own “rule of fear.”

Imagine a scenario in which what you consider a gift is likewise a revile. The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells addresses this same inquiry.

Don Quixote

This is a novel by a Spanish writer. This is considered one of the best writing in the history of Spain. This novel was published in two parts. One part was published in 1612, and another was published in 1620.

Jane Eyre is an English novel and victorian literature. It was published on 16th October 1847. The author of the book Jane Eyre is Charlotte Brontë. He is a very famous writer. The publication country of this book is America. Jane Eyre is divided into 38 chapters.

It was originally published in three volumes in the 19th century, comprising chapters 1 to 15, 16 to 27, and 28 to 38. This is one of the most well-known novels to readers. This is also considered as one of the best.

Mrs. Dalloway

Virginia Woolf wrote a novel named Mrs.Dalloway. It was first published on 14 May 1986. This is one of the best-known novels by the famous author, Mrs. Dalloway.

The publication country of this book is the United Kingdom.  In October 2005, Mrs. Dalloway was included on Times list of the 100 best English-language novels written since Time debuted in 1923. This is a massive achievement. And this book deserves it.

The Color Purple

We have come to an end. And we have got our last book on the list today. The name of this book is The Color Purple. It was published in 1982 in the United States. This is a well-known novel by Alice Walker. Alice Walker is a very famous writer from all over the world.

People recognize him for his books. The language of this book is English, and the publisher’s name is Harcourt Brace Jovanovich. This is a story about an Afro-American woman—a story of struggling in the American social culture.
