Their journey in Narnia involves a mission to liberate the land and ensure their survival, guided by the lion Aslan. Aslan gives up his life to rescue one of the siblings, but later comes back to life, overthrows the White Witch, and appoints the children as Narnia’s monarchs.
The book, dedicated to Lewis’s goddaughter, Lucy Barfield, has received widespread praise and was listed in Time magazine’s 100 Best Young-Adult Books of All Time.
