But the thing is among the all innumerable works; there are some very special. In this article, I was gonna make a list of 10 world best novels. Keep your reading if you are interested in it.

The Lord of the Rings

The Lord of the Rings is a high-rated fantasy novel and epic. This epic wrote by the prominent English writer J. R. R. Tolkien. The story plot of The Lord of the Rings is set in middle earth.

It is considered one of the best and popular works in the last few years. The lord of the rings’ story began as a sequel to The Hobbits, which Tolkien also wrote in 1937.

The Lord of the Rings book was written from 1937 to 1949. This book has three parts; The The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return Of The King.

The first part of this book was initially published by the Allen & Unwin publishing company on 29 July 1954, The Two Towers was published on 11 November 1954, and the last part, The Return Of The King, was published on 20 October 1955.

Still, this book has great demand worldwide; it is one of the world’s best-selling books. Over 150 million copies have been sold of this book; later, this book’s story is adapted into films in the same name.

To Kill a Mockingbird

The Amerian renowned author Harper Lee wrote the book To Kill a Mockingbird. This book was firstly published in 1960. After publishing this book, it was well-received by the novel lover of the United States.

In the United States, this book is mostly read in high schools and middle schools. This book won the Pulitzer Prize, and it has become a classic of modern American literature.

This book’s plot is based on Lee’s memory of when she was only 10 years old and observed her family, neighbors, and an event near her hometown. Exactly this book was published on July 11, 1960, by J. B. Lippincott & Co.

This film’s story was adapted into a film in 1962; that film was an Academy Award-winning film directed by Robert Mulligan. Undoubtedly it is a great literary work in English literature.

Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984)

Nineteen Eighty-Four is a book by the distinguished English novelist George Orwell. His real name is Eric Arthur Blair, born on 25 June 1903. He is mostly known for his pen name George Orwell.

Nineteen Eighty-Four is one of his greatest works in English Literature. Sometimes this book was published in 1984. Most of this writer’s works depict social awareness topics like totalitarianism, biting social criticism.

The Nineteen Eighty-Four was written against totalitarianism. After publishing this book, it made a deep impression on its readers. The plot of this book is set in 1984. This book was initially released by Secker & Warburg on 8 June 1949.

A Passage to India

The English fiction writer E. M. Forster wrote the book A Passage to India. This book was set in the 1920s and the plot of this book is against the British Raj and the Indian independence movement’s perspective.

The American book publishing imprint Modern Library selected this book as one of the great 100 works of the 20th century.

American weekly magazine Time Magazine included this book in its “All Times 100 Novel” list. This book won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize in 1924. This book was originally published by Edward Arnold (UK) Harcourt Brace (US) on 4 June 1924.

One Hundred Years of Solitude

One Hundred Years of Solitude is originally a Spanish Language book that Gabriel García Márquez wrote. He is a Colombian writer who was born on 6 March 1927 in Aracataca, Colombia. The book One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of his unbridled creations.

This book’s plot made based on the multi-generational story of the Buendía family, whose patriarch, José Arcadio Buendía, founded the (fictitious) town of Macondo. In other words, it can be said that it is a Magic realism genre fiction novel. This novel was firstly published in the Spanish language in 1967.

After the publication, over 50 million copies of this book are sold and translated into 46 languages worldwide. This book was translated into English in 1970. Sometimes this book is identified as the supreme achievement in literature.

Middlemarch

The book Middlemarch wrote by the feminist English author Mary Anne Evans. Usually, she wrote as George Eliot. Worldwide Middlemarch is one the best book of all time.

This fiction work is set in English Midlands and briefly Rome, September 1829 – May 1832. The story of this book follows distinct, intersecting stories with many characters.

In later, a film was made by the story of this book. This book was initially published by William Blackwood and Sons in 1871–1872. After publishing this book, it got a good response, and till now, its popularity has not diminished. This book got a total of 3.98 ratings in Goodreads.

Great Expectations

Great Expectations is really a great creation by the English writer and critic Charles Dickens. Great Expectations is the thirteenth novel by Charles Dickens. He was born on 7 February 1812 at 1 Mile End Terrace. He created some world’s best fictional characters; one is Pip that he created in the Great Expectations novel.

This novel was first published as a serial in Dickens’s weekly periodical All the Year Round, from 1 December 1860 to August 1861. But in October, this book’s three volumes were published by Chapman and Hall. In Goodreads, this book has a total of 3.78 ratings out of 5.

His Dark Materials

There is a TV series based on this novel story of the same name, His Dark Materials. The English writer Philip Pullman wrote this book. Actually, the book His Dark Materials is a trilogy of fantasy novels.

This novel’s story starts with the coming age of two children, Lyra Belacqua and Will Parry, in a Parallel Universe. This book will be a great book for the science-fiction story lover. The plot of this movie is adapted into a film of the same name in 2019.

Diary of a Nobody

Diary of a Nobody is an English-language comic book written by the brothers George and Weedon Grossmith. This book depicts the details of English suburban life by the anxious and accident-prone character of Charles Pooter.

This book was firstly published in June 1892 by J. W. Arrowsmith Ltd, London. In later, Weedon Grossmith illustrated this book. Yet the book is on the list of some of the best books in the world. This book has a good review and ratings in Goodreads.
